GREENWICH, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A community is coming together to support a local high school student who was in an accident. Garrett Heath was placed in a medically induced coma after an accident on Sunday morning.

Family and friends will be gathering at Mowry Park in Greenwich in support of the high school junior. It's taking place at 6 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 1.

Attendees are asked to park at the at the school and then walk to Mowry Park from there. All are welcome.
