LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) -- Michigan State University beat the Western Michigan Broncos 23-6 in their first home game of the season Friday night. In another first, MSU has privatized its concessions at Spartan Stadium and other sports venues -- a move that did not go over quite well for some fans.

Game day favorites like hot dogs, pretzels, and Melting Moments ice cream can still be found -- but the stadium now sports windows for vendors like Little Caesar's and Auntie Anne's.

The update also included switching to a cashless payment system, which caused problems for some fans.

Lines for most of the first three quarters of the game were quite long, with some spending more than half an hour in line to get snacks. Multiple attendees were quick to take to social media during the game, claiming
