TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - Daniel Hollander was sentenced to 1 1/2 years in prison almost two weeks ago, but disagreement about how his case was handled continues.

Hollander admitted to bringing a gun and a knife onto the Legacy Traditional School-East Tucson campus in January.

Now, Pima County Attorney Laura Conover said she’s trying to clear up misinformation that has spread over the past week after the Tucson Police Department issued a statement in response to her remarks during a town hall meeting.

The TPD said that Hollander was Mirandized and that he waived those rights.
