VIENNA — For years, students from Southern Illinois have built friendships that span the globe. With foreign exchange students still waiting to study in the region, Vienna High School is calling on local families to help keep the connection alive.
Vienna High School has a rich history of hosting exchange students, according to Superintendent Joshua Stafford. He said the school has had everyone, from individual students to large groups of students, come and be hosted by families in the community. He has seen students from Germany, South Korea, Pakistan, Italy, Singapore and other countries all over the world.
