GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WITN) - Goldsboro Police responded to a shooting on Friday that sent 23-year-old Tyjon J. Langston to the hospital.

Around 7:02 p.m., the Goldsboro Police Department received a call for shots being fired in the area of Dupont Circle.

As officers were responding, they say Langston arrived at UNC Health Wayne Emergency Department.

He was transported to ECU Health Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigations and the Crime Scene Unit responded to the scene and are continuing the investigation.
