It’s not every day Maricopans get their own AMA opportunities with their elected officials.
But Councilman Vincent Manfredi makes it a point to provide that opportunity at least once a month through Facebook or YouTube. On Thursday night, the Maricopa Meadows resident took a break from the digital realm to host his first in-person town hall in months.
His promise — “No questions skipped” — drew nine inquisitive attendees. The turnout didn’t faze Manfredi.
“I’ll answer any question that people ask, and it’s fun,” he said. “People deserve the right to ask the questions . And when you ask questions and you get factual, data driven answers, you have an educated society. And that’s why I think people should do it.”
