LEXINGTON, Ky. — In power conference-Mid-American Conference games, the lesser opponent often sneaks up on the big dog and surprises them.

That isn't going to happen this week with Kentucky and Toledo.

The Rockets embarrassed fellow Southeastern Conference team Mississippi State last season and ended the year with a win over Pittsburgh. Not to mention UT is garnering national publicity for its status as a G5 playoff candidate.

"I believe they've got votes in the AP poll, and we don’t," Kentucky defensive coordinator Brad White said last week.
