This summer has been a crazy, busy, fun, productive, building, exchanging growing season for me, personally.

It has been a lot to mentally juggle and wade through, but in the end, I’m proud of where I stand and how my family has come out of this season. Summer is naturally a busy time, especially in northern Minnesota, because the pools are only open for 10 weeks or so, and the growing season is only 100 days at best, so timing is everything and we can rest through the six months of winter ahead.

We started the summer with a simple bucket list for the family, with the kids’ input, of course. So we found a new splash pad in the city this summer, we swam in our favorite pools and built sandcastles at our local beach. We went camping on the North Shore and rode rides at our local county fai
