GRAND FORKS – After reaching a naming rights agreement with the Grand Forks Blue Line Club for the renaming of the Eagles and Blue Line Club Arenas, the Grand Forks Park District will be pursuing other naming rights opportunities within the facility.

The goal would be to use the revenue generated from the sale of naming rights for improvements and renovations to the facility.

“We’ll be showing those to the (Park Board) and getting their approval for what those opportunities could be and what kind of dollar amount we could be looking at,” parks director George Hellyer said.

The Park Board commissioners will meet Tuesday, Sept. 2, to discuss the naming rights opportunities. What is now being called the north and south rink are on the table to be renamed, as well as other elements such as
