A man has been injured after he was attacked by an XL Bully on a street in Dundee. ‌

Emergency services raced to King Street in the city after the alarm was raised at around 11.15am on Friday, August 22. Officers were responding to reports of a man sustaining injuries to his face and body after being attacked by the XL bully type dog. ‌

The extent of the man's injuries is so far unclear but police have been scouring through CCTV footage and they are now appealing for information. The dog is described as fawn/brown and white in colour and there were three males with the animal at the time. ‌

The first is described as white, aged around late 30s/ early 40s, around 6ft, skinny, wearing a black baseball cap, wearing dark blue jeans and a blue T-Shirt with a Scottish accent.
