Scott Brown insists shot-shy Ayr United can turn their stuttering start to the season. ‌

The Honest Men are still without a league win in the new campaign after today's 1-1 draw with Queen's Park. ‌

United needed a late deflected strike from substitute Jude Bonnar to bail them out after falling behind to Josh Fowler's first half penalty. ‌

Ayr enjoyed large spells of possession but, in truth, laboured for a cutting edge as Spiders keeper Callum Ferrie went relatively untroubled.

Brown says he and his players must accept the frustration which was audible from the stands - but vowed he will inject new life into the season's slow start.
