(WHTM) - College football fans on Saturday will pay tribute to Lee Corso, who will make his final appearance on ESPN's College GameDay after nearly 40 years.

Corso, a former college football coach, became an icon on the weekly show by picking the winner of the week's biggest game by donning the mascot's headgear.

According to Penn State Athletics, College GameDay has visited University Park 11 times, hosting shows outside Beaver Stadium, on the HUB lawn, and outside Old Main.
