VILLAGE OF PAWLING – Seventy-five-year-old Daniel Dorn, a Pawling resident, was arrested on Thursday, August 29, following a sheriff’s office investigation into reports of public lewdness. The investigation started after the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) received a report from the Pawling Village Mayor’s Office of someone exposing themselves to women and young girls.

Following the investigation by the DCSO Detective and Patrol Bureaus, the elder “flasher” was taken into custody and charged with misdemeanor public lewdness and was released with an appearance ticket for a September 9, 2025 court appearance in the village.
