Brewers outfielder Jackson Chourio , who has been out since July 29 with a right hamstring strain, was reinstated off the injured list before Saturday's matinee against the Blue Jays.

To make room on the roster for Chourio, the Brewers optioned outfielder Brandon Lockridge to Triple-A Nashville. In other moves, the club designated infielder Oliver Dunn for assignment and reinstated lefty Robert Gasser from the 60-day IL and optioned him to Nashville.

Before going down with the injury, Chourio was slashing .386/.438/.591 in 11 games after the break. Overall, he's hitting .276 with 17 homers and 67 RBIs for the season.
