PHILADELPHIA -- Trea Turner is having himself quite the 2025 season.
That continued on Saturday night, when he delivered a two-out, two-run walk-off single in the bottom of the 10th to lead the Phillies to a 3-2 victory over the Braves at Citizens Bank Park. It was Turner's seventh career walk-off hit and third with the Phillies, with his last coming on Aug. 16, 2024, against the Nationals.
The latest walk-off knock completed a three-hit night for Turner, who improved his NL-leading hit total to 168 this season. He's on pace for the Phillies' first 200-hit season since Jimmy Rollins in 2007. He is also on pace to steal 40 bases after swiping two more against Atlanta, and he's on pace to score what would be a career-high 109 runs.
