WEST MIFFLIN, Pa. —

Kennywood announced the cancellation of its 21-plus nights after multiple altercations occurred inside the park within the last two weeks.

General manager Rick Spicuzza said in a statement Saturday that the event was canceled "effective immediately," following physical altercations that have reportedly broken out inside the park.

"Anyone displaying unruly or disruptive behavior will be banned from the park," Spicuzza said.

It is unclear if anyone was injured or if anyone was banned as a result of the altercations.

According to a release issued before the cancellation, on Friday, Aug. 22, and Friday, Aug. 29, the park opened exclusively to those 21 and older.
