BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - It’s been a dry start to the morning.

Temperatures are warming up quickly into the low to mid 80s shortly before noon. I think the majority of us will remain dry and warm this afternoon with highs in the upper 80s.

Winds are forecast to come from the northeast at 5 to 10 mph. If we see a stray shower, it will likely occur in Chilton, Coosa, Clay and Tallapoosa counties. If you have any evening plans, we will likely remain dry with temperatures cooling into the upper 70s by 7 p.m.

Alabama Football Forecast: A stalled boundary remains across the Gulf Coast producing scattered showers and cloud cover. Rounds of showers and storms will likely impact the game in Tallahassee, Florida this afternoon.
