ST. CLAIR COUNTY, Ill. (First Alert 4) - A missing man out of Swansea, Illinois, has been found alive after a week of search efforts.
The search for William “Bill” Crispin ended Saturday, when a search team found him alive after a week of efforts.
Crispin was last seen on August 23, prompting multiple search efforts involving numerous agencies throughout the week. The searches involved Swansea Police and Fire Departments, St. Clair County Emergency Management, Fairview Heights Police, and community involvement in the searches.
Before noon on Saturday, volunteers reported that Crispin was found on private property a half mile from the Church of Christ, where he had been last seen the previous Saturday.
