ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - For 20 years, the Tower Grove Farmers Market has been more than a place to shop, it’s been a place to connect.

Every Saturday, vendors like Autumn Sij set up shop at Tower Grove Park. Among the crowds of shoppers, she’s not only selling her farm’s goods, but also building friendships that feel more like family.

“My favorite part about the market is honestly the community, not just with the customers, but with our fellow vendors some of them are more like family now cause we have been together for so many years,” Sij said.

Two decades ago the market began, giving local farmers and producers a space to thrive in the heart of south St. Louis. Since then, it’s grown into a Saturday tradition for neighbors across the region.
