POCATELLO — Services for Pocatello-Mt. Hope Fire Company’s Past Chief, Joseph Mazza, will be held next week in Middletown.
Mazza, 47, died last Friday, a day after responding to a medical call. He served the Pocatello-Mt. Hope Fire Company and the community for over 34 years.
“We mourn the loss of Past Chief Joseph Mazza Sr., who exemplified the finest traditions of the fire service,” said Stuart Carver, Chief of the Pocatello-Mt. Hope Fire Company. “His dedication to this community and to his fellow firefighters will remain an inspiration for generations to come.”
Visitation for Mazza will be held from 5 to 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 2, at the Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, located at 130 Highland Avenue. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 3, at Our Lady of M
