Police are urgently appealing for information after a five-year-old boy was hit by a car in Accrington.
The child was on Belfield Road in Accrington at 5.44pm on Friday (August 29) when he was hit by a white Toyota Prius. The driver of the car left the scene.
The boy suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital where he remains. Two men, both 20, were later arrested in connection with the incident, our sister site, LancsLive reports.
