An urgent appeal has been issued to find a missing Bolton man who was last seen more than 24 hours ago.

Greater Manchester Police says Adam was last seen at 8.45am on Saturday morning (August 30) in Westhoughton .

The 35-year-old is described as being white, 5ft 9ins tall and of medium build.

GMP shared a photo of the Bolton Wanderers fan as part of an urgent appeal to find him this afternoon (Sunday).

Adam's surname has not been given by GMP.

A force spokesperson wrote on Facebook: "Have you seen Adam from Bolton?

"Officers are becoming increasingly concerned about him and want to make sure he is safe and well."
