A late-night shooting at a residential building on Paris Street has left two people dead and one person in custody, according to Greater Sudbury Police.
At approximately 10:23 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 29, officers responded to a 911 call reporting gunshots heard inside the building located at 1960 Paris St. When they got there, patrol officers discovered a deceased male and female on one of the floors.
Police did not release the names of the victims.
Police have arrested one individual in connection with the double homicide. However, investigators believe additional suspects fled the scene before officers arrived.
Police did not release the name of the person arrested or whether they have been charged.
