The 53 rd annual Delaware Nation at Moraviantown Competition Pow Wow attracted a large crowd on Saturday for the two-day event.
“The Pow Wow is a wonderful opportunity for everyone, including newcomers, to learn about First Nation culture and traditions,” said Michele Hopkins, the community’s economic development coordinator, in a social media post.

The pow wow, being held at the community centre at 14811 Schoolhouse Line, continues on Sunday with a grand entry scheduled for noon.
There are also several vendors set up. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for seniors and children under 12 with children under three admitted for free.
