SCITUATE, Mass. — The suspect in a suspicious death investigation, in which a Portland man was found dead in a car parked outside a hospital in Massachusetts, has turned himself into police and is now facing a murder charge.

Police in Weymouth, Massachusetts, were contacted around 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, about a possible body found in the back seat of a black Honda Civic with a Maine license plate that was parked in front of the emergency room entrance of South Shore Hospital, according to a news release issued Saturday by the Massachusetts district attorney's office.

A hospital unit coordinator reportedly went to the vehicle, where they found an unresponsive man who was "wrapped in multiple blankets secured with duct tape," the release stated.
