A few KPRC 2 viewers have spotted some waterpouts in the Galveston area via our Click2Pins , and the National Weather Service confirmed they are, but these particular ones aren’t a cause for alarm just yet.

The NWS confirmed spotting the waterspouts around 1 p.m.

Officials tell KPRC 2’s Gage Goulding they’ve had a few waterspouts reported off the coast of Galveston and Bolivar; they are “very weak in nature,” but very photogenic.

One of the waterspouts is reported to have moved on land somewhere (not sure where), but it wouldn’t have done damage.
