EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — The Evansville Recovery Alliance is hosting a Day of Remembrance event on August 30 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Crescent City Collective on Pollack Avenue.

This annual Overdose Awareness Day gathering aims to offer a meaningful evening for friends and families to remember loved ones lost to overdose.

Attendees can enjoy free snacks and a food truck, and the event is free to attend. The Brewer Family is coordinating the event to support the Evansville Recovery Alliance.

Nina Snoogans will provide music for the evening, with more performers to be announced.
