CHILLICOTHE – The sound of drums, brass, and school spirit will fill the air on Friday, September 5, as Pickaway-Ross Career & Technology Center (CTC) hosts its 17th Annual Battle of the Bands .

The event kicks off at 9:30 a.m. on the CTC’s main campus, where eight partner school marching bands will compete for top honors. Students, staff, and community guests will enjoy a showcase of musical talent and school pride before Pickaway-Ross students cast their votes to decide this year’s champion.

Chillicothe High School enters the competition as the reigning back-to-back winner, having claimed victories in both 2023 and 2024. The Cavaliers are hoping to secure a rare three-peat, but strong contenders stand ready to challenge their streak.
