BENNINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) - The return of the 30th annual Garlic Fest to downtown Bennington not only brought a strong aroma, but also brought in garlic lovers galore, they’re looking for stuff to buy, something to eat and potentially for some something to wear.

“Marissa asked me if I like garlic and I said ‘of course who doesn’t like garlic!” Katrina Lewin of Nashua New Hampshire said.

Katrina Lewin and Marissa Antosh sure know how to clove off with a homemade style.

“Garlic hat pattern, so uh we made these, these are different lobes that you can, different garlic cloves and little garlic scapes,” Lewin said.

Bennington’s Garlic Town U.S.A. left a strong aroma Saturday as part of its 30th annual festival.

The Southwestern Vermont Chamber of Commerce has run the annual event since 2008,
