For the second year in a row, UNC lost starting quarterback Peter Costelli. He is out for the year, Lamb said after the game without disclosing the injury.
A redshirt junior from San Pedro, Calif., Costelli was injured on a 15-yard run late in the third quarter and just before the game was stopped for two hours with a weather delay.
