The No. 7 Oregon football team got its season started in style against Montana State Aug. 30 at Autzen Stadium, soundly defeating the reigning FCS national runners-up , 59-13.

The Ducks (1-0) were led by quarterback Dante Moore, who completed 18 of 23 passes for 213 yards and three touchdowns in his first start, while tailback Noah Whittington rushed for 68 yards and a touchdown and Malik Benson caught five passes for 51 yards and a score.
