Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC struck quickly but couldn’t sustain the momentum as the Tampa Bay Rowdies rallied back to get a 2-1 win Saturday night at Al Lang Stadium in St. Petersburg, Fla.

Charles Ahl scored his second goal of the season in the game’s second minute, the Riverhounds’ fastest goal of the year. Robbie Mertz set up the goal thanks to a nifty pass from the left wing by Luke Biasi.

But Lewis Hilton and Woobens Pacius scored 11 minutes apart for the Rowdies to seal the game. Hilton’s goal came in the 64th minute.

The Hounds now sit five points back of fourth-place North Carolina FC with only eight games to play.
