ATTICA, Ohio — A racecar driver had to be flown to the hospital after a crash at a Seneca County racetrack on Saturday night.
Attica Raceway Park says that Bobby Elliot had to be helicoptered to a hospital after complaining of back pain.
According to the track, Elliot was alert and talking to officials after the crash and had feeling in his extremities but was airlifted to the hospital as a precaution.
Elliot was participating as a driver in the All Star BMain sprint car event at the track.
In a social media post, the track said “we are wishing all the best for Bobby, his family and team.”
This is the second to last event at Attica Raceway Park for the season according to the track’s website.
