SPENCER — With the holidays quickly approaching, the N.C. Transportation Museum is celebrating the return of The Polar Express Train Ride in Spencer. The immersive family-oriented experience hosted nearly 1.8 million riders at 58 locations in the U.S., Canada, U.K., and Australia in 2024.

Popular dates and times are expected to fill quickly, but seats are now available for departures beginning Nov. 7 and continuing on select dates through Dec. 23.
