A community campaigner has demanded action over a growing homeless camp in a Birmingham suburb.
Paul Smith said he was regularly contacted by locals about rough sleepers on wasteland off Bell Holloway, just outside Northfield Shopping Centre.
He claimed up to 20 people had lived in an assortment of makeshift tents hidden among undergrowth for the last six months.

He said Birmingham City Council and other agencies had reached out to the inhabitants but little had changed.
There had been fires, issues with noise and allegations of anti-social behaviour which was affecting the quality of life for residents, he said.
