Lockdown led to teen Macy Gibbons trying her hand at darts for the first time in a bar her dad built. Back then the Nuneaton youngster just played for fun.

But her mum and dad, Clair and Paul Gibbons, clocked she had a talent. "In lockdown my husband built a bar at the end of the garden and put a darts board in there," Clair said.

"He was playing against her (Macy) and he said to me 'She's quite good you know Clair'." She then started taking on friends and family. "She was unbeatable, she was beating all of his mates, she just really took to it."

But it only earlier this year that the 15-year-old, who turns 16 next week, went along to the Coventry Junior Darts Academy. "She starting winning the tournaments and they (the academy) said 'she's really good, you should enter into the girl
