"The boys will be greatly missed by their families, friends and the wider community," a local sports club wrote

Police Scotland said in a press release that the three teens — identified as Fergus Ward, Lewis Knox and Jordan Cameron, per the BBC and The Press and Journal — were traveling on the A830 road in the Highlands near the village of Arisaig at around 11:15 p.m. local time on Thursday, Aug. 28, when the crash occurred.
