Crews responded to the collision of a motorcycle and a box truck on Sunday shortly before 4 a.m. on Interstate 95 south in Tinicum Township, according to dispatch notes.
The notes showed that the rider was on the ground and that the incident was near mile marker 11.
According to radio traffic:
En route, they were told there was one in cardiac arrest at the scene and, soon after, that police arrived at the scene and confirmed the cardiac arrest.
Police soon used the word “obvious,” with medics echoing that a minute later.
It was unclear later Sunday morning how long the southbound traffic was affected. The radio traffic showed that the Delaware County Medical Examiner’s Office was notified.
