A police cordon was established in Wykin Community Park, Hinckley, after the discovery of a man's body on Saturday morning, August 30. The park, located on the outskirts of Hinckley and managed by Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council, was the scene of the incident, which prompted a swift police response.
Leicestershire Police confirmed that they received a report shortly after 8.30am regarding the body. Officers arrived at the scene and set up a preservation area near a wooded section of the park. In a statement, the police indicated that the man's death is not being treated as suspicious. They stated, "His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
