Parts of South Lanarkshire are set to be battered with heavy rain, as summer looks to well and truly be over.
Autumn will be setting in overnight into tomorrow (Monday, September 1) as rain rolls in from the Atlantic, with disruption expected in the affected areas.
The warning, which comes into force from 3am on Monday, September 1, and lasts until 10am on the same day, could see 40-50mm of rain, bringing tricky conditions for rush hour.
The Met Office has warned that frequent and heavy showers could being travel disruption with flooding of homes and businesses possible.
