Joseph Dayrit rushed for two touchdowns, and Keon Barcinas-Hill had two touchdown receptions and an interception, and St. Francis High’s football team opened the 2025 season with a 43-2 nonleague rout of Greenfield on Saturday.

The teams played with a running clock the entire second half. St. Francis’ defense didn’t allow the Bruins a first down.

The Sharks featured a balanced attack that finished with more than 400 yards on offense.

“It was good,” Sharks coach John Ausman said. “Guys executed the plan and a lot of guys contributed. It was really good to see.”

Dayrit, a 1,300-yard rusher last season, scored on runs of 5 and 56 yards to help the Sharks jump out to a 27-2 lead.
