Officers were called to Oxford Circus yesterday (August 3) at 3.40am and today (August 31) just after 1.30am to reports of two serious assaults.

On the Saturday, a 23-year-old man was treated for stab injuries and was taken to hospital for further treatment.

A 41-year-old man has been taken to hospital this morning, also for stab injuries.

No arrests have been made in connection at this time, but police are treating the two incidents as linked.

The British Transport Police believes that the man pictured may have information which could help the investigation.
