Officers find crack in car after routine Cambridge stop

Cambridge, MD — A simple stop sign violation led to a drug arrest Monday morning after a Cambridge man was pulled over and officers allegedly discovered crack cocaine and paraphernalia inside his vehicle.

Just after 10 a.m. on Moores Avenue at Robbins Street, Cambridge Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that had failed to stop properly at High Street and Washington Street. The driver was identified as 35-year-old Chavonne Anthony Corbin-Stanley of Cambridge.

While speaking with Corbin-Stanley, officers reported spotting suspected drug paraphernalia in plain view inside the vehicle. A subsequent search uncovered a quantity of crack cocaine along with additional related items.
