INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating after a person was critically injured in a shooting on Indianapolis' near northwest side Sunday morning.
According to IMPD, around 1 a.m. Aug. 31, officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 2900 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street , near West 29th Street.
When officers arrived on scene, they said they found a person shot. The victim was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
It's unclear what led up to this shooting.
At this time, there is no information about a possible suspect or motive.
