COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL)-The forecast remains mostly sunny and dry, with readings holding into the mid to upper 80s. Strong high pressure remains across east Alabama and west Georgia through Tuesday.

A mid-week (weak) trough or disturbance will trigger a passing shower or storm. This system will linger across the region through Thursday before it dissipates.
