Educating Yorkshire is returning to television with a second series, but the new instalment will feature a major change, headteacher Matthew Burton has revealed.
The beloved programme, which many will recall thanks to Mr Burton's famous assistance helping pupil Musharaf Asghar overcome his stammer , originally broadcast in 2013 and centres on Thornhill Community Academy in Dewsbury.
Educating Yorkshire showcases the experiences of Thornhill's 900 students as they share their views on school life and the educational challenges they encounter whilst maturing.
Much has transformed globally since 2013 , and Mr Burton has disclosed that this is evident in the second series of Educating Yorkshire, particularly regarding technology.
