NEENAH, Wis. (WFRV) – Officials with a shelter in Neenah say they are proudly empty following the success of a month-long ‘Clear the Shelters’ campaign.
On Saturday, J&R Aquatic Animal Rescue in Neenah said 369 animals found a new home in August, with 89 adoptions being made on ‘Clear the Shelter Day’ alone.
The Neenah-based animal shelter and rescue says it is proud to help out so many exotic pets by helping them find loving families.
I’m fortunate to be able to be one that can take in larger animals like this where as many people aren’t, have the ability to take in a larger animal like this and that’s why we drove two hours here and two hours back today just to adopt samsons so that they can have a good home.
