Two walkers have been rescued after they became stranded on a Scots Munro.
Dundonnell Mountain Rescue Team raced to the slopes of Sgurr Fiona at around 5.30pm on Friday August 29 after receiving a report from Police Scotland that two walkers had become stranded due to the cloud cover descending around them.
The team were able to Sarloc their phone and get a location for them as they mustered at Dundonnell base.
Two hill parties rushed to the scene and provided the stranded pair with food and warm clothing.
The walkers were guided back to the team's base for a cup of tea before being transported to the Dundonnell hotel campsite. Everyone was safe and home by 1.30am.
