Neil Warnock called Sydie Peck's challenge on Sammy Silvera an 'ankle breaker' as Sky Sports' pundits agreed that the Sheffield United midfielder should have saw red for his early challenge.
Peck was booked for his reckless challenge on the Boro star, as he reacted to a heavy touch by jumping into a challenge with the Australian with his foot high and studs raised. Thankfully, Silvera emerged from the tackle unharmed, but was withdrawn at the interval after also taking a bump to the head in a bruising first half.
The decision to not give Peck his marching orders didn’t end up proving costly for Boro either, with Rob Edwards’ side still going on to win the game 1-0 . But working the game for Sky alongside former Boro defender Tommy Smith and Jobi McAnuff, Warnock was clear that the
