VELDA CITY — A resident here called police last week when a neighbor showed up on his front porch naked, with his hands zip tied behind his back.
The bound man said he had been shot.
It was just before 3 p.m. on Tuesday when North County Police Cooperative officers responded to the 911 call in the 6900 block of Glenmore Avenue.
The injured man, who lives just three doors down from the 911 caller's house, was taken to Barnes Jewish Hospital, police said. He has since remained in the ICU.
The neighbor who called 911 told officers that the injured man said his cousin, Albert Myles, and Myles' son came over asking for money that day.
Myles and his son tied the man up in the basement and shot him, the man told his neighbor, according to charging documents.
